Environmental Compliance Audits
A compliance audit is a systematic review of your facility’s operations against applicable environmental legislation, regulations, and permit conditions. KDM’s Environmental Inc. audits are designed to identify gaps before regulators do, allowing you to correct issues proactively rather than reactively.
We review your Environmental Compliance Approvals, operational records, monitoring data, and facility practices to produce a clear gap analysis and prioritized action plan. The goal is to give your team the information it needs to operate with confidence.
An Environmental Compliance Approval (ECA) is required from the Ontario Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks for facilities that discharge contaminants to air or water, or that handle waste. The application process involves technical documentation, engineering assessments, and regulatory submissions that need to be done the first time correctly.
Businesses with less complicated operations and activities that meet specific requirements or outcomes may be eligible to register in the Environmental Activity and Sector Registry (EASR). This application process also involves technical reporting prepared by a licensed engineering practitioner (LEP).
